Welcome to the Health Innovation Lab!
The Health Innovation Lab develops and implements evidence-based interventions into community-based clinical settings. We are dedicated to providing access to healthcare services using innovative mobile health (mhealth) technology. Our lab focuses on improving access to addiction treatment for high-risk populations, with particular attention to people living with HIV or at-risk for HIV.
The Health Innovation Lab collaborates with several University of Texas and community organizations, including Texas Health Catalyst, UT Pop-Up Institute, iSchool and the Youth Recovery Network. We actively engage in training the next generation of scientists at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The Health Innovation Lab operates under the direction of Kasey Claborn, PhD. The work in our lab is generally supported by National Institute on Drug Abuse.
