In the midst of the fall holidays it is important to remember that we are only a little over a month away from exam time. But don’t fret, the Library has many resources to help you prepare for your exams. Perhaps the first resource you may want to review is the Library’s guide on Exam Prep Materials to get an idea of what our collection has to offer.
You can also see if any of the exams that your professor has administered in previous semesters are available in our collection of past exams. Selected past exams are available online and many are also available in print. Running through past exams can expose you to the mechanics of finals without the pressure.
Also, don’t forget to visit the Hyder Popular Reading Room, which houses the current editions of the library’s most useful student resources in one location. It is located on the second floor of the library in the southeast corner of the Reading Room. If you enter the Reading Room through the doors just in front of the Reference Desk, you will see the Hyder Popular Reading Room straight ahead. This collection features popular study aids – including Examples & Explanations, hornbooks, nutshells, and outlines – and the past exams that are available in print.
Finally, the Law Library will have extended hours for students who want to study for finals beginning on December 1st. These hours are posted on the library’s website.
