Save the Date: 28th Annual International Solid Freeform Fabrication Symposium in August

The 28th Annual International Solid Freeform Fabrication Symposium – An Additive Manufacturing Conference will be held in Austin TX on August 7-9, 2017.  The meeting is a major high-level research conference dealing with all aspects of Additive Manufacturing.  The meeting has grown significantly over the years.  At the 2016 conference, over 540 people attended, representing 20 countries. A total of 391 presentations were given, 337 oral presentations and 54 posters. The 2016 Conference Proceedings included 197 papers and is over 2500 pages. For our “veteran” attendees, there are some changes from recent years.  The meeting will be held at the Hilton Austin Hotel (500 East 4th St) in the downtown area, about 1 mile south of the university.  A block of rooms is being held at a special rate.  The Sunday night and Monday night social events will take place.  Tuesday evening is now a free evening.  There will instead be an informal lunch at the conference site near the meeting rooms.
