Sometimes the solution is way more simple than what we may think.
I was working on SketchUp to create some 3D models, and I faced a strange
response from the program.
I tried to add a “wrap” on an object which had a texture, and paint the wrap with
a different color. The result was pretty strange:
although the wrap had a solid green color, there were some
fragments which were not painted. After a quick google search
I found that this is a common problem in 3D rendering, called Z-fighting.
The easiest way to overcome is is to move the wrap a few inches away from
the face, so there will be no overlapping.
