Dr. Chiu-Mi Lai will be holding an info session to answer questions from those intending to apply for departmental hours this April. It will be held on Tuesday, February 7th, in the Meyerson Conference Room (WCH 4.118) from 3:30 – 5:00 p.m.
Tea, coffee, and light refreshments will be served.
The deadline to drop a class without it showing on your record and with the possibility of a refund is the 12th class day at 5 p.m., which is this Wednesday, Feb. 1. You may drop online through Wednesday using the registration system. Any drops after Wednesday at 5 p.m. will reflect a “Q” on your academic record.
**IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK YOUR SCHEDULE TO ENSURE IT IS ACCURATE. YOU WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR ANY COURSES ON YOUR RECORD.**
It’s very important that you check to ensure you’re enrolled in the classes you intend to take this semester. The Registrar is becoming much stricter about enforcing the General Information Catalog (GIC) policy that registration should be over and done by the 12th class day. Delete drops, late registration, and late add of classes will only be allowing in “rare and extenuating circumstances.”
You can check your schedule at https://utdirect.utexas.edu/registration/classlist.WBX.
SUCCESS IN THE CLASSROOM
If you just walk in, sit and write down whatever gets put on the board, your classroom skills could use a tune-up. This presentation will teach you how to make the most of your class time. Scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 7th, at 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. in UTC 1.104.
