Barbara Kristof, a teacher at the House of Tutors at 24th and Pearl, is working with a student from China who would love to have a conversation partner, something who is learning Chinese and speaks American English fluently. The idea is to meet on a regular basis and speak Chinese and English alternatively.

Twenty-eight Japanese college students (APU Ritsumeikan University, Oita, Japan) will visit the Japanese Conversation Table this Friday, June 26th. As they are taking English and International communication courses at St. Edward’s University this summer, and they have classes on Friday afternoon except this week, this will be their first and last opportunity to come to UT Conversation Table. If you have time and want to chat in English/Japanese with them, please stop by anytime from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at a Union dining hall.

The Senate of College Councils serves as the official voice for students in academic affairs at The University of Texas at Austin. As one of three Legislative Student Organizations, the Senate works to represent the needs, concerns,and opinions of students through the 20 college councils.
