Previous Corporate Events
Company representatives are given the opportunity to present engineering opportunities and engage with students for 30 minutes. These are an excellent way to establish a company presence on campus. ASME hosts general meetings every other Wednesday at 6:00PM, with the company presenting from 6:30-7:00PM.
Our End of Semester Banquets celebrate the accomplishments of ASME, recognize outstanding members, and offer ample opportunity for networking with corporate representatives. This year, we would like to encourage 2-3 companies join us and give students the opportunity to sign up to sit with the company representatives and network during the dinner portion. There will also be opportunity to network before and after dinner.
Lunch & Learns
This smaller and more personal setting is a great chance for representatives to share personal company experiences and meet students with a strong interest in working for your company. These sessions are an hour long during a weekday.
ASME is strongly interested in showing members different work environments. Facility tours allow the opportunity to explore the inner working of a company and learn extensively about their operations. We are looking for companies who would like to host our students for half a day or longer, in the past our students have really enjoyed this opportunity.
Corporate Socials are an excellent way for students to network with representatives in a much more intimate setting. Top Golf near The Domain, bowling alleys, and professional sporting events are popular options. Price varies on the amount of students and location.
Tailgates are gatherings for students and company representatives before home football games, to network in a casual and open environment. ASME provides all the food and set-up for the tailgate.
Rube Goldberg Team Supporter
The Rube Goldberg competition showcases our members creative design capabilities. ASME is looking for corporate supporters in order to provide our team with the best supplies and equipment.
