My Role as Your SEC Representative
As the ASME Student Engineering Council Representative, I am responsible for attending the SEC general and representative meetings along with communicating important information back to ASME members. The position also calls for running ASME hosted E-Week events. I also act as a mentor for the freshman representatives throughout the year.
I am a third year Mechanical Engineering student. I was born in Pakistan, but raised in the United States. The first nine years of my life were spent in North Carolina. I moved to Texas, when I was ten, on the fourth of July. Moving here was honestly the best decision of my life. Texas has really changed me for the better in many aspects, especially socially. My hobbies include watching and playing sports (especially soccer), playing video games (mostly FIFA), and watching shows like Breaking Bad and Prison Break. As far as educational aspirations go, I hope to focus on more bio-mechanical or robotics classes and internships.
