The 2014 International Conference on Aging in the Americas (ICAA) is the seventh installment of the Conference on Aging in the Americas series.
This year, the conference will focus on the social and economic demography of Hispanic aging, migration, and immigrant adaptation and Latino integration. The works presented in the conference will deal with the dynamics of health and aging among Latinos in the United States and Mexicans in Mexico, as well as its social and economic correlates. The meeting will also serve as a springboard of discussion on how migration stems from and affects the health, social, and economic dynamics of aging on both sides of the border, and how aging relates to immigrant adaptation and Latino integration/assimilation processes. The preliminary conference schedule is posted here.
