Are you going to be home for the holidays? Do you want to help recruit future Longhorns from your high school? Participate in Hometown High School Recruitment (HHSR)!
HHSR is part of the Office of Admission’s volunteer program. UT students from all across the country are invited and encouraged to participate. HHSR volunteers are given the opportunity to return to their hometown high schools during winter break to speak with prospective students about their experiences at UT.
If you are interested in participating in HHSR, we will offer trainings on the following dates:
• Tuesday, November 8th, 7:30-8:30 PM in Walter Webb Hall (WWH) Room 202
• Thursday, November 10th, 7:30-8:30 PM in WWH Room 202
• Friday, November 11th, 12:30-1:30 PM in WWH Room 202
• Wednesday, November 16th, 7:30-8:30 PM in WWH Room 202
• Sunday, November 20th, 2:00-3:00 in WWH Room 202
You must attend one of the scheduled training sessions in order to participate in HHSR. To sign-up for HHSR training please visit https://goo.gl/forms/NkxfGUsc2A37J3W03. Each training time will be limited to roughly 30 students. The first 30 students to register for each training time will be given that time. If you select a time that is already full, I will email you personally and offer an alternative training time that fits your schedule.
After you register, you will be e-mailed with more information about HHSR. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
