Presentation: Diuretic Strategies in Acute Decompensated Heart Failure and Chronic Kidney Disease
Dr. Moote attended the University of Texas at Austin and received her Doctor of Pharmacy in 2007. She completed her Master of Science in Pharmacy and Advanced Practice Pharmacotherapy Specialty Residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas in 2009.
Dr. Moote has been teaching for 11 years. She began her academic career in 2007 as a Clinical Instructor of Pharmacy at the University of Texas College of Pharmacy in San Antonio, Texas. She received her first full-time teaching appointment at Regis University School of Pharmacy as an Assistant Professor in 2009 and is now a Clinical Associate Professor at The University of Texas College of Pharmacy.
Dr. Moote maintains an active practice in the area of internal medicine. She is a board certified, clinical pharmacy specialist at University Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. She precepts pharmacy students and residents throughout the year.
Dr. Moote was recognized for teaching excellence by pharmacy students as Teacher of the Year in 2015 and 2018.
Dr. Moote has several scholarly interests. She is interested in anticoagulation, pulmonary arterial hypertension, and nephrology.
