Carrie Shuman, Pharm.D., BCPS received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Houston College of Pharmacy. She completed an ASHP-Accredited PGY1 residency at Harris County Hospital District (now Harris Health) in Houston, TX. She then completed a PGY2-Accredited PGY2 residency in Critical Care at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy/North Texas Veteran’s Affairs in Dallas, TX. Following residency, Carrie accepted a position as a Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator at Seton Medical Center Hays in Kyle, TX.
In her current role, Carrie serves as a Regional Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator at Seton Healthcare Family, where she provides clinical leadership for Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas, Seton Medical Center Hays, Seton Southwest, Seton Edgar B. Davis and Seton Smithville. She is also the PGY1 and PGY1 Pediatric Focus Pharmacy Residency Program Director at Seton Healthcare Family.
