This Opioid Use Disorder program is designed to heighten pharmacists’ and pharmacy technicians’ awareness about the effects of the opioid epidemic, to enhance their knowledge of the pharmacological and behavioral interventions used for treatment/recovery of opioid use disorder (OUD), and to increase motivation to provide access to medication-assisted recovery.  This application-based activity meets the Texas State Board of Pharmacy’s requirement of 1 CE hour of opioid-related CE for pharmacist license renewals.  This program is offered as a FREE Continuing Education Opportunity through a grant funded by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
