Presentation: Diabetes Management: A Comparative Look at Insulin


Bio:  Dr. Ivy is an assistant professor with Texas A&M University’s Rangel College of Pharmacy. She graduated with her Pharm.D. from the University of Texas and completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice residency at East Alabama Medical Center and Auburn University. After her PGY-1 Residency, she began a PGY-2 Ambulatory Care residency at the University of Texas and Blackstock Family Health.  Her current practice site is located at Scott and White located in Temple working at Santa Fe Family Medicine as well as the anticoagulation clinic. In these clinics, she provides pharmaceutical care and disease state management under a collaborative practice agreement with a physician. She also serves as a preceptor for PharmD students on an ambulatory care rotation as well as hospital and community pharmacy residents. Additionally, she is the PGY-2 Internal Medicine Residency Program Coordinator.
