Dr. Rosana Steavenson completed her Bachelor of Science and later her Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Connecticut. She then accepted PGY1 pharmacy practice and PGY2 psychiatric pharmacy residency positions at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System in San Antonio, TX, where she currently works as an outpatient Mental Health Clinical Pharmacy Specialist. She holds board certifications both as a pharmacotherapy specialist and psychiatric pharmacist, and serves as Preceptor Faculty with the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy, and as Adjoint Faculty with the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Medicine in San Antonio. As a National Mental Health Subject Matter Expert for the Veterans Health Administration Clinical Pharmacy Practice Office, she has served as a mentor, presenter, and consultant in efforts to help advance clinical pharmacy practice across the Veterans Affairs system.
