Title: NEH Summer Stipends
Sponsor: National Endowment of the Humanities (NEH)
Amount: $6,000 for 2 summer months
Description: Applications are invited for the National Endowment for the Humanities faculty summer stipend program that provides $6000 awards towards 2 months summer salary. The NEH award will be supplemented by OGS to bring the total stipend level up to cover two months’ salary. Each institution may nominate a maximum of only two faculty members, with at least one being an Assistant Professor. Individuals who are interested in applying may visit the NEH website at http://www.neh.gov/grants/research/summer-stipends for additional information. The internal application consists of: a. brief project description; b. bibliography; c. resume. Nominees will submit these internal materials via our online Awards System at: https://utdirect.utexas.edu/ogs/awards/candidate/faculty_app_profile.WBXby September 19th. This will allow us to choose the University’s nominees, and enable the two faculty chosen time to submit their applications directly to NEH electronically by their September 29, 2016 deadline.
