HSE invites qualified candidates to apply to a position at HSE international Recruiting Center. Intermediate Russian language preferred. Candidates should have a degree in marketing or advertising and be ready to move to Moscow. Position is open until filled.

About the School:

National Research University Higher School of Economics  is one of Russia’s largest and most modern state universities. Established in 1992 as a program in economics, HSE currently offers 87 programs in 16 areas of study for undergraduate students and 129 Master’s programs in 28 areas of study. 25 Master’s programs are currently taught entirely in English. At its four campuses – in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Perm and Nizhny Novgorod – HSE offers instruction to more than 30,000 students each year. Because HSE attracts the best and brightest from throughout Russia, most students have a high level of proficiency in English. Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage International Admissions website; create and update descriptions, news, application forms, etc.

  • Work with leads through inter@hse.ru; respond to all inquiries before applicants submit applications; manage database of leads

  • Work with the internal database and CRM to approve and edit all requests (registration, information update, password reset, questions)

  • Oversee the creation of all English-language guides and documents sent to international students

  • Communicate with English-speaking embassies, partners, and institutions (for example, Embassy of Indonesia and international schools in Moscow)

  • Explore opportunities in priority regions through communications with embassy representatives and university leaders (currently focusing on Taiwan and India)

  • Translate materials for the CIS division (for example, regarding Olympiads)

  • Maintain a few social media accounts (Facebook and Instagram)

  • Represent HSE at international higher education conferences and education fairs

Work directly connected with the PR department:

  • Oversee the creation of print publications promoting HSE to international audiences (Study at HSE, Study Abroad at HSE, Summer University, HSE University); write content and work with designers

  • Strategize and edit English-language social media (Facebook & Instagram)

  • Work with international information portals (MasterStudies, StudyPortals, Study in Russia); create and edit texts; explore new potential audiences

  • Create English-language online advertising (for example, for Google and Facebook)

  • Create newsletters to send out to leads

  • Edit materials for faculties (for example, presentation for Faculty of Social Sciences and brochure for Faculty of Mathematics)

  • Assist with English-language website (content, architecture, etc.)

Potential additional responsibilities focused on improving hse.ru/en:

  • Manage the quality of faculty and school pages by working to improve non-news texts (i.e. descriptions)

  • Work with heads of English-taught programs to improve program pages

  • Create pages with descriptions for all Russian-taught programs

  • Build the calendar section

Other areas:

  • Edit a wider spectrum of faculty, school, and program materials (presentations and publications)
