Acad. Job: Lecturer in Russian (Ohio State)

The Department of Slavic and East European Languages and Cultures at the Ohio State University welcomes applications for one or more renewable positions as Lecturer in Russian language and culture to begin August 2019.

The department is seeking a lecturer in Russian able to teach at all levels of the Russian language as well as any of the lower-level literature, culture, and film courses delivered in English. The instructor’s responsibilities might also include teaching in the department’s Individual Instruction language program. The position requires a minimum of a master’s degree in Russian or a related discipline and a PhD is desired. Native or near-native fluency in Russian and English is required.

Renewal of the position is based on department needs, performance and availability of funds. Applications received by March 8, 2019 will receive priority consideration and applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
