Opportunity Highlights
- Awardees will receive a stipend of $7500 distributed over the duration of the grant period in addition to a $2000 travel grant. Texas Global will award up to eight grants to faculty directors for this competition cycle.
- Grant Period: June 1, 2020 – August 31, 2022, spanning student mobility for Academic Year 20/21 and 21/22
- Eligibility: Tenure and non-tenure track faculty, lecturers, and professors of the practice, with a minimum of three years of experience at UT Austin. Faculty need to submit letters of support from their department chair and dean to direct the program for a minimum of two consecutive years.
- Faculty must have an existing international partner; demonstrate their ability to recruit a minimum of 5 students per year; commit to developing a high impact learning model; collaborate with and be responsive to all policies set forth by Texas Global; and direct the program for a minimum of two years, with evidence that the model is sustainable past year three.
