The ID Center provides proximity-enabled ID cards for students, faculty, staff, official visitors and university affiliates as required. The ID Center also upgrades UT EIDs for eligible individuals to allow full access to online services.
ID Cards for students living on campus in one of the residence halls will receive an email from University Housing and Dining soon with instructions for how to obtain their ID Cards. All other students, faculty, and staff who will be on campus this fall should refer to the ID Cards section below.
ID Center staff are fulfilling all UT EID upgrade requests using a remote video chat processes.
To verify whether your EID has been upgraded, visit the EID Self-Help Tools and select “Upgrade my EID”.
ID Center Staff are on-site fulfilling requests for ID cards for research and personnel required to work on campus, and students residing and working on campus. Requests may be fulfilled on-site on the first floor of the Flawn Academic Center (FAC).
