UT Drupal Kit 2.22 Release

ITS is happy to announce the immediate availability of UT Drupal Kit 2.22.0, the latest maintenance release for our University distribution of the Drupal web content management system. This release includes several contrib module updates, one small accessibility bugfix, and the removal of a list styling change that was added in the 2.21 release.

CONTRIB UPDATES

The 2.22 release includes updates to the following contrib modules:

ACCESSIBILITY FIX FOR QUALTRICS SURVEY EMBEDS

The UT Drupal Kit’s custom functionality for embedding Qualtrics surveys through the WYSIWYG editor was unintentionally providing a default id attribute of “Qualtrics” on every embedded survey, which could result in an accessibility violation for duplicate id values on the same page if multiple surveys are embedded on the page.

This has been resolved by adding a unique id attribute to each embedded Qualtrics survey that is calculated from the survey’s URL.

REVERT DEFAULT STYLING FOR ORDERED LISTS

In the 2.21 release, default styling for list item styles in nested ordered lists was added to the Forty Acres theme. This change has been removed after reports that the default styling interfered with list item styles that had been applied directly in HTML markup by content editors.

HOW TO UPDATE THE UT DRUPAL KIT

Complete instructions and download links for updating a UT Drupal Kit site are available on the documentation wiki. Pantheon site dashboards that use the UT Drupal Kit distribution should see the upstream updates available now; see the Pantheon documentation for more information on applying upstream updates.

Please review the changelog thoroughly, and always make backups of your code, files, and database before proceeding with an update!
