I bought a used wheel for Forza Horizon 4 gameplay. However, several issues I encounter:
- No wheel control profile shows. => Solution: click on the profile, (which is blank if you had this issue), hit right arrow key until you see something. Done.
- The steering is inversed. => Solution: If you are using a steering combined wheel (Like I did), you should choose steering combination on.
- it turned out to be way too sensitive, i.e. little physical rotation results in huge steering in the game. (5 deg => 90 deg). => Solution: This is a more complex and device-dependent case. My wheel is very bad, so I twisted it around and find out a solution for me
- Change the steering linearity to 1 (mainly helps me)
- remind the minimum dead range for the steering axis (leave it as default)
- reduce the sensitivity to 1.
- hardware-wise, change the wheel to normal or low sensitivity mode.
- * I still haven’t perfectly solved this yet. In the wheel drive property, I can see it senses the steering very well! (no lag and analog/simulated perfectly) I don’t know why it behaves so weird in Forza. I’ll try Dirt Rally 2 next time.
