The Ethnography Lab congratulates Graduate Fellow Vivian Shaw, who was just awarded an SSRC-JSPS Fellowship for her dissertation project “Human Fallout: Post-Disaster Citizenship in Anti-Nuclear and Anti-Racism Collective Action in Japan.” This is a joint award from the SSRC and the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) which supports dissertation and postdoctoral research in Japan in the humanities and social sciences. Congrats Vivian!!
The Ethnography Lab congratulates Katherine Jensen who was awarded a 2015-2016 Fulbright U.S. Student Award for Brazil, where she will conduct her dissertation research in Rio de Janeiro and Brasilia. Way to go Katie!

Caitlyn Collins has been awarded a PhD Research Grant on EU Public Policy from the Center for European Studies.
Jessica Dunning-Lozano has accepted the Marilyn Yarbrough Teaching Fellowship at Kenyon College. She also recently won the 2014 SSSP Educational Problems Division Graduate Student Paper Prize. The winning paper was an improved version of the manuscript she work-shopped in the lab.
