Sustainable Built Environment

Smart urban growth requires holistic strategies ranging from historic preservation and spatial development, to architecture as materialization of the planning process and energy related questions pertaining to a sustainable built environment.

The sustainable built environment group is addressing some of society’s greatest challenges through the efficient use of land, construction materials and energy. Led by Prof Felkner, the research group focuses on integrating design and technology to improve urban conditions, building performance and human comfort.
