About

Elaine Ng is a Ph.D. student in electrical and computer engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. She received two B.S. degrees in electrical engineering and physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2021. She also received her M.Eng. degree in electrical engineering from MIT in 2022. She is co-advised by Dr. Alex Hanson and Dr. Jean Anne Incorvia. Her research interests are in the intersection of material science and power electronics to develop magnetic materials for integrated magnetics and power converters. She was awarded the NASA Space Technology Graduate Research Opportunities (NSTGRO) fellowship in 2023. Outside of research, Elaine loves to cook and play video games.
