GuevarraJay Guevara has had many different roles within HFSA throughout his time in the professional setting. From exec board to committee member, HFSA has always been a part of his time at UT. He is also very excited to shadow the role of Staff Co-Chair and be ready for next year. Jay joined the McCombs School of Business staff in 2013 as an Academic Advisor after serving as an Academic Advisor in the Longhorn/Discovery Scholars Program within the School of Undergraduate Studies. Jay earned a B.A. in History from UT Austin in 2010.

Caroline EnriquezCaroline Enriquez currently serves as an Associate Director for Special Projects in the Student Success Initiatives Division of the Office of the Provost for The University of Texas Austin.  Ms. Enriquez manages various scholarship programs and university partnerships; her work bridges the gap between Admissions, Financial Aid, and Student Success Programs.  In 1998 Ms. Enriquez started in the Office of Admissions at UT Austin as an Admissions Counselor serving San Antonio, the Rio Grande Valley, and her native home of El Paso.  In 2003 she became the director for the Houston Admissions Center and led the recruitment efforts for the university’s largest feeder market.  She returned to Austin in 2005 to lead the On Campus Recruitment Events Team whom are responsible for coordinating the Admissions Office’s open house programs for prospective students, targeted recruitment programming, and also daily prospective student visitation.  When the University of Texas at Austin’s Visitor Center opened in 2010, Ms. Enriquez was promoted to Associate Director for Visitor Services, overseeing all visitor related operations for the Office of Admissions.  In 2012 Ms. Enriquez assumed responsibilities for leading the undergraduate recruitment efforts in addition to Visitor Services.

A native of El Paso, Ms. Enriquez graduated from Coronado High School in 1994 and received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin in 1998. She is married to Charles Enriquez, Assistant Director of Undergraduate Recruitment and Scholarships for the McCombs School of Business.  Caroline and Charles live in Austin with their two children, six year old Jax and four year old Nia, and a squirrel chasing Rat Terrier, Lucy.
