Welcome to the Spring ’18  School of Nursing semester. HNSA has been having a great year so far and we are excited to let current and prospective members know about all of our upcoming volunteer opportunities and activities (some events may be restricted to student classifications or member status). Feb. 9 CHAMPS-

Meet high school students in Austin ISD and tell them about the challenges and rewards UT nursing students experience.

Feb. 12& 13 SoN Simulation-

Bring your acting skills to the School of Nursing and help the Junior 1 students practice their nursing skills in a simulated patient room.

Feb. 17 Best of Nursing-

Join the School of Nursing faculty, staff, and student body welcome future nursing freshman to their new school.

Member point system

Our point system determines if you are an active HNSA member can qualify you for graduation cords. Go to our “members” tab for more information and to view your points.

Hurricane Harvey Relief Benefit Concert

The various student organizations from the the School of Nursing have partnered to help those who were affected by Hurricane Harvey recently. Join us on Friday, September 22 from 5pm- 7pm at Scholzs Garten and enjoy musical performances by two bands made up of medical doctors and nurses. A silent auction and local art vendors will also be at the event. Lastly, donations of new underwear, socks, and tennis shoes will be accepted for families in need.

This event is entirely donation based and all proceeds will go to UT’s Horns Up for Harvey Relief. Bring your friends and family for an evening of fun and charity. We hope to see you there!

Find us at the Adelante event today

First off, HNSA would like to welcome everyone to the Fall 2017 semester at The University of Texas. There are many great things HNSA has planned for this semester and hope to meet you there!

Adelante is an event geared towards welcoming first-year students and helping them learn about Latinx-based resources and organizations available to them. Over 35 student organizations, 12 campus resources, entertainment, t-shirts, and food will be provided at the event.

There are no requirement needed to attend Adelante and everyone is encouraged to attend! Find our HNSA booth at the Gregory Gym Plaza today, August 30th, between 5:00 and 7:00pm!
