The Institute for Military & Veteran Family Wellness addresses the unique needs faced by military and Veteran families. In order to impact families now and in the future, the program focuses its work in three key areas:
- Research that studies practices and programs that seek to help service members, veterans and their families in order to identify and share findings related to effective programs and practices.
- Training & Graduate Education to ensure current and emerging professionals are equipped with training in evidence-based practices known to effectively serve military and veteran families.
- Community Collaboration to work closely with service providers and gain input from stakeholders in military and veteran communities.
