We utilize fundamental concepts in colloid and interface science, materials chemistry, nanotechnology, and polymer science to design, synthesize, and characterize materials for advanced performance in energy, pharmaceutical, and biomedical applications.
Our current research focuses on developing:
- Material Chemistry for Energy storage
- Protein stabilization and Drug delivery with small-molecule co-solutes
- Material Chemistry for advanced functional metal and metal oxide nanoparticles, their interactions at liquid/solid interfaces with applications in subsurface
- Biomedical Imaging/Therapy with biodegradable nanocapsules
