The Texas 4000 Atlas Ride kicks off all the Texas 4000 riders as they begin their journey to Alaska.  The ride starts in Cedar Park and concludes in Lampasas at Pillar Bluff Vineyards with food and Music on Saturday, June 2.  Our very own LAHers Jamie Hill and Julia Shatilo will be participating in the Texas 4000 this year.  I am planning to register for the 50 mile Atlas Ride.  I’ve never ridden 50 miles before, but this sounds like a good excuse to train.  Whether you want to do the 25, 50, or 75 mile Atlas ride, please join me in sending off Jamie and Julia!
