StudyBreaks–write what you know

Hey peeps,
We Want You!
StudyBreaks doesn’t require that you “be a writer” (although we take those too), rather we know that good writing is a by-product of a passion for the subject matter. Every idea I heard today is exactly what we want in our magazine. Whether it’s a futuristic plan for Mars, a digression on magic, witches and medicine, the electoral strategy of tomorrow, a feminist diatribe on one of the myriad aspects of this patriarchal society (or campus), the development of modern music, or any one of the other topics I forgot to mention we would love to publish it. Are you struggling to define or narrow your topic? Write about it for us! Hunter S. Thompson once said he wrote in order to explain what he was experiencing to himself. We don’t need citations, or sources, or analytical academic thinking. Just write it out.
We do both daily online content as well as a monthly magazine. Either way there will be a place for your stuff. If you’re interested then either email me at nlloydtx@utexas.edu or our editor mark: mark@studybreaks.com. thanks for reading!
