Health care costs and patient outcomes continue to be important topics for patients, healthcare providers, plan sponsors, governmental agencies, and other organizations. Interest often centers on controlling healthcare services utilization and expenditures and improving quality of care and patient outcomes.
Dr. Lawson’s primary teaching interests include health care systems, community pharmacy management, and contemporary issues in pharmacy in the Pharm.D. program and health care systems, research methods, and data analysis in the graduate program.
