Everyone affiliated with the University of Texas is welcome to the DS Lab and staff services regardless of college or department. Todos los afiliados de la Universidad de Texas, sin importar la facultad o departamento, serán bienvenidos y podrán disfrutar de todos los servicios del personal y el DS Lab.
2. What services do you provide? ¿Cuáles son sus servicios?
The DS staff offers consultations on individual research projects ranging from the exploratory/conceptual to the final stage and the use of digital tools/methods, and special collections. We also train on specific digital tools used in research, analysis, applied-use of digital special collection assets, and the introduction of digital tools and content into curricula. El personal de DS provee servicios de consultoría para todos los niveles de investigaciones individuales. Desde el inicio exploratorio hasta la presentación final, ofrecemos adiestramiento sobre herramientas y metodología digital al igual que el uso de colecciones especiales. Además, realizamos adiestramientos de colecciones digitales, herramientas específicas y sus usos en tareas de investigación, análisis y docencia.
3. How can I access the DS Lab and the services? ¿Qué debo hacer para utilizar el DS Lab y sus servicios?
The DS Lab is located on the second floor of the Benson Library, SRH 1.206. We have drop-in hours posted on our main page calendar and you can also set up an appointment via email with your name, preferred date and time, area of research, and specific needs (consultation and/or software training). El DS Lab está en el segundo piso de la biblioteca Benson, SRH 1.206. Tenemos las horas de consulta en el calendario de nuestra página principal y también puedes hacer una cita enviándonos un correo con tu nombre, fecha y hora de preferencia, área de investigación y servicios de interés.
4. How can I learn more about the DS Lab? ¿Cómo puedo aprender más sobre el DS Lab?
You can check out our events and workshops, which are always free and open to the public (space permitting). We also offer internships and fellowships for affiliated and non-UT students, professors, and staff. Visita nuestra página de talleres y eventos. Estos siempre son gratis y públicos (pueden tener espacio limitado). También hay prácticas y becas para estudiantes, docentes y personal, estén afiliados o no con UT.
