Those of you who follow our blog know that we feature occasional “Alumni Spotlights” which celebrate the ways UT grads have leveraged their international experiences while at UT to achieve great things in their global careers. Today we introduce a variation on our Alumni Spotlights, which we will call Alumni Reflections. In these blogs, alums will tell their own stories and give us an overview of their global business adventures and their thoughts on how their time at UT Austin provided them with the skills and insights to become world changers.
Our first reflection will be from Dutch native, Paul Witschey, who earned his BBA in International Business from UT twenty-five years ago and who has settled in Australia after a truly international career. – Linda Gerber
I graduated with an International Business major from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin in 1994. My studies at UT Austin, and in particular the learnings that I got out of the International Business program, acted as the first domino in a long “domino show” that has allowed me to propel an international management consulting career spanning 5 continents.
