Wraparound Coaching & Supervision Supports
To further support Wraparound Facilitators, Team Leads and Supervisors, TIEMH provides various types of coaching support to enhance Wraparound skill. In-person supervision sessions, observations of child and family team meetings, virtual support and written assessments are some examples of this support. The different types of coaching support offered are described in detail in the Wraparound Coaching Protocols.
Virtual Coaching Platform (VCP)
The Virtual Coaching Platform (VCP) support refers to Wraparound coaching support with Wraparound Supervisors and Team Leads that is conducted via the use of the VCP. The VCP is an online platform that was developed and is supported by NWIC. Wraparound supervisors and team leads use the VCP platform to submit audio recordings of their wraparound supervision sessions and related documentation. A TIEMH Wraparound Coach reviews the submission, and provides both written and verbal feedback regarding the supervisor’s skill.
For more information about how to use the VCP, please download the Wraparound Supervisors VCP Guide.
WrapChat
To support the on-going skills development of wraparound supervisors and team leads across the state, TIEMH provides learning collaborative calls named ‘WrapChat’. WrapChat is designed to increase skill development in Wraparound Supervisors and Team Leads, whereby they can then better provide support to their Wraparound Facilitators. WrapChat also offers participants opportunities to review the process and principles of wraparound, share innovative approaches toward implementation and to brainstorm ideas for engaging in high quality wraparound.
