Three conferences closely tied to multimodal, portable, and optical imaging have recently announced calls for abstracts:
- The 2nd International Neuroergonomics Conference will be hosted at Drexel University in Phildelphia, Pennsylvania on June 27-29. This year’s theme, The Brain at Work and in Everyday Life, has a special emphasis on portable neuroimaging, biofeedback, and neurostimulation. The conference website is available at: http://www.neuroergonomicsconference.org/. All accepted abstracts will be assigned a doi number, published by Frontiers and will be indexed and searchable online for citations. The Journal of Frontiers in Human Neuroscience (IF:3.2) will publish expanded versions of accepted conference submissions. Please see the conference call for abstracts for further submission details. Abstract submission deadline is March 15th.
- The Second Britton Chance International Symposium on Metabolic Imaging and Spectroscopy will honor the 105th birthday of the late Britton Chance, a pioneer in the application of infrared light to biomedical imaging. The conference will be held June 11-13 at the University of Pennsylvania. Further information is available at http://www.med.upenn.edu/chance/. Abstracts will be selected for travel stipends, poster awards, and short/flash talk presentations. The conference organizers encourage student and trainee participation in the conference presentations and networking opportunities. Abstract submission deadline is March 16th.
- The Society for fNIRS will hold their biennial meeting fNIRS 2018 in Tokyo, Japan on October 5-8. See website for further information: http://fnirs2018.org/. Abstract submission deadline is June 1st.
