Fundraising Chair’s Duties
- In charge of organizing sale dates (set by Pharmacy Council) see president for dates
- Food sales have been restricted (for further details, see the 5th floor), can be bake sales
- Coordinate with treasurer to come up with affordable/money-making items. Organize new fundraising ideas, purpose to members, new shirt design (free shirt for the creator, etc)
- Event summary report to president including:
- Name of Organization, Type of Event (Service, Social…), Semester/Year, Date of Event, Location, Sponsors (if any), Brief description of the event, Number of people at the event (ie # of people screened/educated etc), Name of Advisor/Preceptor present (if required), Name(s) of Event Coordinator(s)
- Have sign in sheet and take pictures (collaborate with historian) for fundraising events
- Fundraising opportunities:
- NSO (in summer)-have enough Smalls/Mediums
- Alumni Tailgating Party-set up booth/fundraiser sales-have enough Mediums-XL
- CE event-usually at a hotel-have enough XL, perhaps XXL
- Parents Day/Family Day
Historian’s Duties
- Take pictures at all events (including meetings)
- Have picture from every event
- For end of year report
- Create a mean of photo management (photobucket, gmail, etc)
- Update bulletin board periodical with new pictures and event date (located in the 2nd floor hallway next to the student lounge)
- Update the picture in the NCPA cabinet on the 2nd floor with current pictures
- Organize a time for members to take group picture (i.e. after a meeting, let president know, so he/she can plan accordingly)
Pharmacy Council Representative’s Duties
- Attend ALL pharmacy council meeting (see president for specific dates)
- Take minutes/notes
- Make power point slides on important info send to president before next meeting
- Report pharmacy council (PC) updates to chapter during meeting
- Make sure all contacts are up to date:
- Canvas
- Website (Contact Belinda Lehmkuhle for any updates to websites)
- With PC secretary
Service Chair’s Duties
- Organize 1-3 service events per semester (non health screening)
- Collaborate with Project collaboration rep for health screening
- Have sign in sheets and coordinate car pools if needed
- Email reminders prior to the event via blackboard, newsletter, and monitor request

Social Chair’s Duties
- Organize at least two social events per semester.
- Propose a few dates to the members at a meeting to determine the best time to hold the event.
- Send invitations or reminders prior to the event via blackboard, newsletter, and monitor request

Project Collaborate Sr. Representative’s Duties
- P2 or P3, trained in procedures and techniques for giving health screenings
- Train junior Project Collaboration Rep in techniques, procedures, etc
- Responsible to make sure all participating members are trained in proper techniques and procedures
- Let members know when/where the training sessions are held each year
- Collaborate with PC and other organizations in scheduling health screenings and acquire supplies, which include glucose monitor, glucose strips, cholesterol monitor, cholesterol strip, gloves, alcohol sanitizer, bandage, alcohol wipes, paperwork, etc.
- Attend all health screenings
- Keep president update with current events
- Email reminders prior to the event via blackboard, newsletter, and monitor request

President-elect’s Duties
Spring
Purpose: to observe president and be familiar with presidential duties to promote smooth and efficient transition in the end of spring semester
- Collaborate with president to set up professional development series
- Sponsorship application (done during registration in April) $10 fee for re registration; sponsorship app needs Dr. Shepherds and Dean’s signature

Vice President-elect’s Duties
Goal: observe VP; assume the duties of VP if VP is not available
- Collaborate with VP to organize the Independent Pharmacy Practitioner Showcase
- Reserve a room.
- Invite a panel of independent pharmacists.
- Order food. (Can delegate)
- Provide handouts to students for basic background info about the pharmacies and for taking notes.
- Announce the event to all pharmacy students (Need RSVP)
- Tri-weekly Meetings
- Assist the President with announcements
- Reserve Speakers (contact/reminders speakers)
- Introduce speakers during meeting
- Award and distribute PCCA stipends to students.
- Recommendation: A bias-free process should be implemented to determine the recipients and it should be documented how/why the decisions were made.
- Distribute and collect all mandatory travel documentation. (Warning: if a student somehow slips by without turning in travel documentation, they will probably not be reimbursed for their expenses and it will make you look bad.)
