Pre-Pharmacy Prerequisite Course Requirements

6 hours of General Biology: BIOL 1015 & BIOL 1025

4 hours of Microbiology: BIOL 3034

3 hours of Genetics: BIOL 2054

8 hrs of General Chemistry: [CHEM 1033 + 1032] & [CHEM 1043 + 1042]

8 hours of Organic Chemistry: [CHEM 2033 + 2032] & [CHEM 2043 + 2042]

3 hours of Calculus: MATH 1124

3 hours of Statistics: MATH 2003

3 hours of Rhetoric and Composition: ENGL 1123

3 hours of Sophomore Literature: ENGL 2263, 2383, or 2423

4 hours of Physics: [PHYS 2113 + 2111] or [PHYS 2513 + 2511]

Microbiology (including laboratory) must have one year of general biology and at least one semester of general chemistry as its prerequisite in order to satisfy our four credit hour microbiology requirement.
