Pre-Pharmacy Prerequisite Course Requirements
6 hours of General Biology: BIOL 1710 & BIOL 1720
4 hours of Microbiology: No Equivalent Course
3 hours of Genetics: BIOL 3451
8 hrs of General Chemistry: (CHEM 1410/1430) & (CHEM 1420/1440)
8 hours of Organic Chemistry: (CHEM 2370/3210) & (CHEM 2380/3220)
3 hours of Calculus: MATH 1710
3 hours of Statistics: MATH 1680
3 hours of Freshman Rhetoric and Composition: ENGL 1310
3 hours of Sophomore Literature: ENGL 2210, 2220, 2310, 2322, or 2327
4 hours of Physics: (PHYS 1410/1430) or (PHYS 1710/1730)
Microbiology (including laboratory) must have one year of general biology and at least one semester of general chemistry as its prerequisite in order to satisfy our four credit hour microbiology requirement.
