UT College of Pharmacy Online Home Study Preceptor Training

The UT College of Pharmacy offers online preceptor training programs FREE to current UT Austin preceptors.

The three credit hour Preceptor Orientation Series is designed for new preceptors to UT Austin’s experiential program, but current preceptors may benefit as well.

Preceptor pedagogy CPE activities are free for current UT Austin preceptor faculty, or for those currently applying to become a UT Austin preceptor. To receive these free courses, enter the coupon code to the right of the course title in the coupon code box at the bottom of the registration page.  Click the Apply Coupon link to remove the fee.

Each activity provides 1.0 contact hours or 0.10 CEUs of continuing pharmacy education credit. In order to receive credit, the participant must register, watch the video, pass the post-test, and complete the online evaluation.

The videos currently available include taped presentations from the 2013 and 2014 Preceptor Orientation and Training Conferences. Pharmacists who have already claimed credit for these presentations are not eligible to receive credit for the online version of the same presentation.

Technical requirements: Videos, post-tests, and evaluations work on most tablets, computers, and smartphone connected devices. Ability to play MP4, mov format and sound required.
