Jacquelyn Navarrete is the Regional Director for the El Paso region. She attended the Cooperative Pharmacy Program-University of Texas at El Paso/Austin and graduated in 2009. She completed a PGY-1 in Community Pharmacy at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. From 2010 to 2013, she worked as Clinical Assistant Professor for the Cooperative Pharmacy Program where she was involved in teaching, research, and writing. At that time she was also the pharmacist-in-charge of the UTEP Student Health Center Pharmacy. Beginning in 2015, she transitioned to Centro de Salud Familiar La Fe, where she primarily works under collaborative practice for disease state management, smoking cessation services, and coordinates health education classes.
She has been involved in national organizations such as American Pharmacists Association (APhA) and American Colleges of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) and actively participated in local organizations such as El Paso Pharmacy Association (EPPA) and El Paso Immunization Coalition (EPIC). In 2013 and 2014 she served as the Association Director for EPPA.
In 2013, she was awarded the American Pharmacists Association National Immunization Champion Award Partnership Category for her efforts in providing the Human Papillomavirus vaccine to underinsured and uninsured university students.
Currently she serves as Clinical Assistant Professor with The University of Texas at Austin / University of Texas at El Paso Cooperative Pharmacy Program.
