Student in PharmacyEarly Practice Experience (EPEs)

The goal of the Early Practice Experience is to expose students to entry-level pharmacy practice through working in a pharmacy practice site between the end of the first professional year and prior to the beginning of the P4 senior experiential year.  The Early Practice Experience will no longer be a programmatic requirement beginning with the entering class of Fall 2018.

Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experiences (IPPEs)

IPPEs are primarily experiential activities that occur in pharmacy practice sites, but may also include simulation, volunteer activities related to pharmacy practice, and reflection on these experiences. IPPEs occur in the context of required courses during the P1, P2 and P3 years.

Students in the final year of the Pharm.D. program participate in  APPEs to gain first hand experience through rotation courses and professional practice experiences in regional sites around the state of Texas.
