Health Economics and Outcomes Research Fellowship
Baylor Scott & White Health is an integrated health system that includes 50 hospitals, more than 900 patient care sites, more than 6,000 affiliated physicians, 64,000 employees and the Scott & White health plan. A part of BSWH, the Baylor Scott & White Quality Alliance (BSWQA) is a clinically integrated accountable care organization contracted with 5 large national insurance companies managing approximately 400,000 lives. Areas of focus are physician-designed quality care and quality improvement processes, clinical integration at all points of care, population management, Health Information Technology (HIT) and analytic reporting, and reduction in the cost of care. Our group supports quality initiatives within BSWQA, some of which are the following therapeutic areas: Oncology, Rheumatology, Neurology, Dermatology, Pediatrics, Cardiology, and Gastroenterology. Fellows will be actively involved in specialty pharmaceutical utilization management as well as value-based contracting proposals with the pharmaceutical industry.

Length of Fellowship: 24 months
Stipend: The annual stipend exceeds $49,000. UT College of Pharmacy Tuition will also be paid by BSWH
