Strategic Direction 2: Evaluate and improve the college’s infrastructure and culture to promote the retention of faculty and staff by enhancing job satisfaction and creating an inclusive environment.

New Staff Orientation

By September 2016, establish an orientation process for newly hired staff at all ranks to train them in the policies and procedures of the college and university as well as to initiate them into the “culture” of the college.

Accountable: staff development committee, assistant dean for administration.
