Meg Bishop is a first year Ph.D student in the Human Development and Family Sciences Department at the University of Texas at Austin, working in the SOGI: Health and Rights Lab.

Meg’s research focuses on examining factors that influence identity development, health, and well-being among LGBTQ+ populations. Meg is currently exploring how experiences of sex education and socialization impact LGBTQ+ health and identity. Ultimately, Meg’s goal is to produce rigorous research that informs programs and policies aimed at eliminating disparities experienced by LGBTQ+ populations.
