The Center for Students in Recovery was recognized by the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy for its role in establishing collegiate recovery programs across the UT System.

Blanca Cruz, Richard Dixon and Michael Farrell with Housing and Food Service earned the Human Resource Services’ Management Essentials Certificate.

Melissa Eshelman, MD, Counseling and Mental Health Center associate director for Psychiatric Services, was named to the 2012 Top Doctors list by Austin Monthly.

Susan Hochman, University Health Services assistant director, was recognized by the Office of Health Promotion at Emory University as one of their 20 Champions of Health Promotion for her ongoing work and national leadership in the field of college health.

Robert Reed, University Health Services assistant director, completed the Human Resource Services’ Management Essentials Certificate.

Sam Siner, Housing and Food Service hall coordinator, has been tapped to write a chapter on “Making Meaning: How Student Affairs Came to Embrace Spirituality, Faith, Religion and Life Puropose” in an upcoming American College Personnel Association (ACPA) book.
