Tom Dison, Recreational Sports, presented on the panel of a plenary education session for the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association’s (NIRSA) Marketing Institute. He and two other NIRSA colleagues discussed their experience with high-value corporate partnerships.

Alex Kappus, New Student Services, was invited by the Delta Sigma Phi fraternity to facilitate a presentation for students on campus about intimidation and hazing.

Jamie Shutter, University Health Services, served as Program Planner for the administration section of the American College Health Association (ACHA) on the Program Planning Committee. The group selects programming for the 2015 ACHA Annual Meeting.

Audrey Sorrells, Office of the Dean of Students, presented on student veteran success at the Reinvention Center 2014 National Conference, Nov. 13–15.

Marian Trattner, Counseling and Mental Health Center, became a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin’s fall 2014 Citizen Police Academy (CPA). CPA is a course designed to give faculty and staff a better understanding of the University of Texas Police Department.

Jessica Hughes Wagner, University Health Services, co-authored an article published in the Journal of American College Health entitled “The Role of Implied Motion in Engaging Audiences for Health Promotion: Encouraging Naps on a College Campus.”
