“A Tip of the Hat to…”

… Ash Hannig, who received this note from the parent of an incoming freshman student. “Earlier today I had a conversation with Ash on behalf of my son who was out of email/cell phone range, but wanted to get information about how requests for reassignment and wait lists work. His fingers are crossed for changing residence halls, and if that does come about it will be because of Ash’s help. I want to let you know how gracious, professional, kind and generous she was with her time and advice. Kudos to her for being a great contact for the public at UT Austin.”

… the Housing and Food Service Occupancy Management Team, who received this note from the parent of an incoming freshman student. “I so very much appreciate the responsiveness of the Housing office. It’s so true what they say about not being able to make a small school big, but you can make a big school feel small. I have been consistently impressed by the attention to detail, responsiveness and warmth at UT Austin — during orientation and availability for phone queries, etc.”
