Military Spouse Resiliency Group (M-SRG)

The Veteran Spouse Network is excited to begin the development of the Military Spouse Resiliency Group (M-SRG) program! The M-SRG program will follow a similar program model to our Veteran Spouse Resiliency Group Program, providing peer support groups to active duty spouses. These groups will provide spouses with a safe space to discuss the unique experiences of military family life and, where they can receive support and guidance from those who understand the lifestyle and its unique strengths and challenges.

We are currently in the research stage of this program and are conducting focus groups with active duty spouses to hear directly from you as to what you would want a program this program to look like. Our focus groups cover everything from content, asking you about what discussions you would want to bring to a peer support group, to structure and logistics, ensuring we design a program that works with your lives.

If you are an active-duty military spouse or partner, please consider joining one of our focus groups. Your feedback will help us create a program that best fits your needs.

Military Spouse Resiliency Group (M-SRG) Focus Groups

Calling all military spouses and partners! Help us create a new peer support program, designed with spouses, for spouses!

We will be offering focus groups throughout Spring 2021, where active-duty military spouses will have an opportunity to share their feedback and ideas about the issues and topics they face, and ways that peer support programming can provide them with needed support on a variety of topics.

In order to participate, you must be an active-duty military spouse, willing to join a focus group discussion about the strengths and challenges of the active-duty family lifestyle.  Each focus group will run for about one a half hours and will take place virtually.

If you are an active-duty military spouse from any branch, please consider joining!

UPDATE RE COVID-19: Due to the rising rates of COVID-19, all of our programs will remain virtual. It is our hope that if the threat of COVID-19 lessens, some of our programs may be able to transition back to an in-person format. We are committed to prioritizing the safety of all of our group members and leaders and will determine the status of in-person programs with that in mind. This page will be updated as those decisions are made.
