Beating the Biological Clock
Winifred Mak, M.D., Ph.D.
Please join the HealthPoint Wellness Program and the Dell Medical School for a Bites of Wellness presentation on fertility. Participants will learn about ovarian aging, why women have a biological clock, and what options women have to beat this clock (preserving fertility with egg freezing), and what options single women have. There will also be discussions around ways to optimize physical and emotional health for fertility.
Dr. Mak is an Assistant Professor at the Dell Medical School in Women’s Health and a physician at Reproductive Medicine Associates (RMA) of Texas. Prior to joining Dell Medical School, Dr. Mak served as assistant professor in the Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences Department and Director of the Early Recurrent Pregnancy Loss Program at Yale School of Medicine where she focused on the full range of reproductive endocrinology diseases including infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss and polycystic ovary syndrome.
